Certified Practice DST 300-304 Revisions

Last year, NNPBC made structural changes to Certified Practice Decision Support Tools (DSTs) to reduce duplication for greater clinical utility. We also introduced a new framework to organize DSTs under two document types:

A) Assessment and Diagnostic Guidelines (commonly known as ‘Assessment DSTs’)
B) Care and Treatment Plans (commonly known as ‘Condition Specific DSTs’)

We are now making content changes through a phased approach. Each suite of DSTs has gone through an extensive review informed by a comprehensive literature review and consultation with educators of Certified Practice courses, Certified Practice Registered Nurses, and members of our Interdisciplinary Working Group. NNPBC is committed to ensuring that all users of these DSTs are provided with the opportunity to review and provide feedback.
