In 2019, the Washtenaw County Office of Community and Economic Development and the City of Ypsilanti hosted a series of meetings with residents in your area to identify and prioritize possible community investments. This led to the completion of the new playground at Parkridge Park in late Fall of 2020.

Additionally, when suggesting potential projects, please keep in mind the following projects are already planned and budgeted for by the City of Ypsilanti:
- Basketball Court - some concrete replaced, resurfacing and painting scheduled for week of 10/4/2021
- Pavilion - repairs to brick and concrete, new lighting (Spring 2022)
- Accessible path/park entrance near Community Center (Spring 2022)
- Installation of seasonal speed humps on Second Street between Michigan and Monroe (Spring 2022)
- Results of Route Ypsilanti project will be shared once feedback stage ends and information compiled.
- Reconstruction of Harriet Street, details TBD (2025)
