Overview

The Youth Outdoor Policy Partnership is a coalition of national organizations with a common commitment to prioritizing state-level investment to support conservation, environmental education, outdoor education and recreation as key to positive outcomes for children and families. 

We are leading a collaborative effort to catalyze state legislative and grassroots leadership to ensure all children have access to nature and opportunities to learn in and about the environment. We are committed to equitable access to high quality, accessible and culturally relevant natural areas in childrens’ daily lives.

This survey will take you through the Youth Outdoor Policy Partnership’s draft policy framework and ask for your feedback on the draft, as well as for state-level policy ideas that you are familiar with or that have never been tried but represent a new ‘big idea’ for increasing outdoor access for children.
