We are Drs. Kelly Liao and Wendy Green from Cleveland State University from the College of Education in the Department of Counseling, Administration, Supervision and Adult Learning. Our research assistants are counseling psychology doctoral students: ChiehYu Liao, Mengxi Yin and Cory Hersh. I am requesting your participation in a research study.
Please read this document carefully before you decide to be part of this study. To participate in this study, you must
1. Be currently enrolled in a counseling or counseling related programs (e.g., clinical/counseling psychology, counselor education, or other counseling related disciplines), and 2. Provide telehealth services in the past 6 months and/or be providing telehealth currently.
The study aims to understand your experience in providing telehealth services during the current pandemic. If you consent to participate in this study, you will be directed to the next section. Please answer the questions as honestly as possible. There is no right or wrong answer. There is no penalty if you miss or skip a question, but please try to answer as many as you can. This study will take about 30 minutes to complete. After you complete the survey, you will be invited to participate in a 1-hour interview via Zoom if you choose to. Participation in the interview is optional.
You might experience emotional discomfort when you think about your experiences. This discomfort will not be greater than the discomfort you may feel daily. We do not expect that you will benefit directly from participating in the study. If you continue to experience discomfort or distress after the completion of the survey, you may contact the counseling center in your school.

Please note that your email address and your identity will not be connected in any way to your survey responses.
Only summary results may be used. No personal identifiers are included in this data. All research data will be saved in a password protected computer in a locked office on the Cleveland State University campus. Only the research assistants and Drs. Kelly Liao and Wendy Green will have access to the data.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There is no penalty for not participating. You may withdraw from this study at any time without any penalty.
