City Council recently passed first reading of the Bylaw #468, the proposed Community Standards Bylaw, which establishes how residents and businesses conduct themselves in public. This new bylaw will replace Nuisance Bylaw #326 and the current Community Standards Bylaw #372.

A municipal bylaw requires three readings in order to be adopted. Before proceeding with second and third readings, Council would like residents to provide input regarding any impacts the proposed Bylaw #468 might have on their activities in the community.

Your feedback is important, and may affect changes to the bylaw.

We have highlighted selected sections from the proposed Bylaw #468 that may affect business owners/operators and how residents conducts themselves in the community.  Please read each section carefully and answer the following questions.
