Lent Comp Plan Update: "Big Ideas"

Lent Township is updating its Comprehensive Plan, which sets a vision for the future that guides decisions related to land use and growth management, housing, transportation, natural resources, recreation and economic development in the Township.

* 1. Based on feedback from the recent community mail-in survey, some common themes emerged about goals the Township should focus on now and in the near future. Please CHECK ALL BOXES that you agree are important.

Preserve the Township's rural character and larger residential lots.

Increase the availability of high-speed internet.

Increase recreational opportunities such as parks, trails, or other amenities.

Continue to prioritize road paving and maintenance.

Remain fiscally conservative.

Encourage residential, agriculture, and recreational uses throughout the Township, and only encourage commercial/service-oriented businesses in designated areas (like near I-35 interchanges).
