Council are surveying local residents to determine community awareness and understanding around disposing of waste using the services provided by Council.

The aim of this survey is to assess the community’s knowledge, understanding and attitudes towards the current waste services provided by City of Melton Council and also explore in what way they would like future waste messaging and education delivered.

· The three kerbside waste bins, red lid Garbage, yellow lid Recycling and the optional green lid Food Organics, Garden Organics

· The Melton Recycling facility – this is where the transfer station, Resale Shop and Permanent drop off sites are located at 33 Ferris Road, Cobblebank (Formerly Melton South)

· Hard waste collections – Residents are eligible for one free, booked hard waste collection each financial year or two visits to the MRF, you can only do one of these.
