This Salary and Benefits Survey for veterinary practices will be used to compile a comprehensive survey report. The survey includes a compensation section for key roles in your practice with years of service and current compensation. These positions include:
- Receptionists/Client Service

What You Need to Know:
Before starting the survey, gather a list of the hourly wages and years of experience in the veterinary industry for the positions noted above.

Before starting the survey, gather a list of the hourly wages and years of experience in the veterinary industry for the positions noted above.
For each position, you will need the average hourly wage based on 0-3 years of experience, 4-9 years of experience, and 10+ years of experience.
Definition of Years of Experience: When reporting years of experience, include the total years the employee has worked in the veterinary industry, not just the time they have worked for your practice.
Definition of FTEs: When reporting FTEs, include full-time and part-time positions. For example, 3 full-time positions and 1 half-time position would be reported as 3.5 FTEs.
The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Your responses are voluntary and confidential. Responses will not be identified by practice. All responses will be compiled together and analyzed as a group.
