It has become the City of Haines City's focal point to recognize those who have served and sacrificed so much for this country, both abroad and domestically.

The City anticipates constructing a public safety memorial at Railroad Park to recognize those who our Community has lost in the line of duty (Police and Fire Service Personnel). This park has become sacred grounds for our Community. It is an important gathering place where we celebrate and recognize the commitment this Community has for duty, honor and country during our Veterans and Memorial Day celebrations. Currently, it is the home of our Military Court of Honor where the City shows it's support to our Veterans and their family members.

Therefore, the City would like to provide you an opportunity to cast your vote for the renaming of what is currently known as Railroad Park. Please note this survey is only a tool intended to provide the public’s opinion on potential names that the City Commission will consider at a subsequent City Commission Meeting.
