Participation in these surveys is entirely voluntary. Any information gathered will be held in a strictly confidential manner. No individual responses will be disclosed, and information will only be used in combination with the responses of others participating in the survey for the final report. The purpose of the Employer Disability Information service is to provide employers with an expert peer source of advice and information on employing staff with disabilities, with a view to enhancing the confidence and competence of individual employers to employ, manage and retain staff with disabilities. The ultimate aim is to promote increased employment of people with disabilities.
The service is managed by a consortium of employer organisations - Chambers Ireland, Ibec and ISME and is funded through the NDA.
