The first two books, Ketchup Kid by Lisa Thompson and My Totally Epic Disaster Week by Ian Eagleton, will release in January 2027, with further books by Karen McCombie, Ben Davis, Bali Rai, and A.M. Dassu set to release in February and March 2027.
Developed to be accessible, the books in this series are especially supportive for children with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges (SLCN), dyspraxia and more. The books have been developed in association with Dr Sarah Moseley, an experienced education consultant, researcher and speaker specialising in literacy, SEND and neurodiversity to ensure that Open Book is widely accessible and inclusive for all.
