Brookston is making needed improvements to the wastewater plant. Because the plant is on the South side and in a isolated area, the only part of the wastewater utility residents see is the sewers and manholes. Are you aware the town has to have a permit to discharge treated wastewater to Moots creek, and if the plant isn't kept in excellent operating conditions it could affect the town's ability to discharge treated wastewater? Please provide any comments.
