Survey of BDCC members on draft Vision, Themes and Actions

The BDCC Executive decided to prepare a vision for Bright and District earlier this year.

The purpose of the vision is to:

- Set out BDCC’s position on the preferred future of Bright and actions it will pursue to achieve this vision.

- Support advocacy action and funding requests for projects that will help realise the vision for Bright.

- Establish principles to assist BDCC with decision making.

- Document what is valued and the challenges the region faces as it continues to grow.

The BDCC executive has prepared a Discussion paper which has been circulated to members.

This survey will help us to gather feedback on the draft from members, and provide input into the next step which is developing up our priority actions to implement the plan.

Here is the link to the Discussion Paper: Discussion Paper

You are also welcome to send an email (send to admin@brightchamber.com.au), and there will be two workshops in late October to share your feedback. You can let the exec know directly what your thoughts are, and also speak to Cazz Redding on 0415 514 928.

Please fill in the survey by 25 October to allow us to collate view prior to the workshops.

The workshops with be held a Pioneer Park on Monday 28 October 2025. Session 1 will be at 4.00pm and Session 2 at 7.30pm. We have made two sessions to provide opportunity for as many members as possible to attend at a suitable time.

Thank you for taking the time to help make this a useful tool for BDCC.
