Introduction

I’m writing today to introduce you to a new initiative from Public Health Seattle & King County's TB Control Program. As one strategy of their TB elimination plan for King County, the TB Program has set a goal to reduce the number of people with untreated latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) in King County by 20% in ten years. Current estimates are that about 100,000 people in King County have LTBI and approximately 100 people progress from LTBI to active disease each year. The TB program does not have the resources or capacity to test hundreds of thousands of residents. Instead, their goal is to partner with providers, clinics, and communities to increase testing and treatment of LTBI to stop LTBI before it progresses to active TB disease. To this end, they would like to hear from you! Please complete the survey below about barriers to LTBI testing and treatment. It should take less than 5 minutes to complete.

Thank you
