The objectives for this session were:
1. Develop an awareness of the impact and prevalence of Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
2. Differentiate between the diagnosis of IC and Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) and understand why the two are often misdiagnosed
3. Discuss treatment options for IC and UTI
4. Recognize when referral to a urologist is most appropriate
5. List various behavioral treatment options patients can use to improve their symptoms
