Beaverton’s downtown is changing.
We want these changes to work for everyone in our community.

The Downtown Equity Strategy is a new initiative to guide future investments by the City of Beaverton and Beaverton Urban Redevelopment Agency (BURA) in public infrastructure, redevelopment, affordable housing, business assistance and other related programs and activities in downtown Beaverton.

This effort seeks to ensure that downtown Beaverton is open and appreciated by all people in our community, is inclusive for racially diverse communities, and that involuntary displacement as a result of these investments is prevented, minimized, and mitigated.

We are just beginning this new effort and are seeking input from local residents and business owners. We encourage you to read the full project proposal here:
