The Association of Florida Colleges Technology Commission Selection Voting for 2023-2024 Non-exemplary practice award for Distinguished Officer and Unsung Hero is now open to all AFC Members.
Welcome to the Technology Commission Board Distinguished Officer and Unsung Hero of the Association of Florida Colleges 2023-2024 Electronic Elections - Due date is September 30@11:59 PM.
The Voting for the Technology Commission Board Distinguished Officer and Unsung Hero is held in order to select the AFC Technology Commission Board Distinguished Officer and Unsung Hero who will be representing you at statewide meetings, conferences, and conventions. You cannot vote for the same person for both awards, and you cannot vote for more than one selection within each category.
On the next page, you will be confirming your selection for the AFC officer of the Technology Commission who has been recognized for his/her leadership participating in meetings, conferences, and conventions, and the Unsung Hero behind the scenes who will be part of the Technology Commission Representing the Board Distinguished Officer and the Unsung Hero for the year. Two different candidates do not repeat the same person for both categories. In the event this happens, the decision is up to the Executive Board of the Technology Commission to award the Distinguished Officer of the Year and the Unsung Hero accordingly.
This AFC officer and this Unsung Hero will be selected from the list of officers in the selection box. The winner will be announced after the electronic voting process ends on September 30, 2023, and during the 74th Annual Conference.
Please confirm your voting for each award for one different officer to make the process fully transparent to everyone and to have a record of the process for each different award. You can vote for an officer of your college, but you can also vote for an officer who doesn't belong to your college. You can vote for yourself or for another officer from the list. The selected candidate voted for who has the maximum number of votes will determine the results. In the event, we have a tie then the Board will decide who is the best candidate.
