The Frontier Culture Museum is a living history museum that has eleven exhibits, eight of which are working farms. Volunteers help the museum facilitate events, guide school groups, special administrative tasks, and driving museum shuttles.
Volunteers must be at least 17 years old to apply.
Some positions may be asked to work regular hours based on seasonal needs and participate in annual training.
All volunteers agree to abide by the Museum code of conduct and undergo a background check prior to beginning work at the museum.
Volunteering at the museum does require some walking, as the exhibits span over a mile of walking distance. Certain volunteer positions require more walking, while others require less physical activity. Some accommodations can be made. Please keep this in mind when selecting potential volunteer roles.
