Washington State PTA Seeks Input on National PTA’s Proposed Dues Increase |
At this year’s National PTA Convention in late June, the National PTA Board of Directors is bringing forward a proposal to increase the National PTA portion of membership dues from $2.25 to $3.75. Delegates at the National PTA Convention (including delegates from your Washington State PTA) will debate and vote on this proposal, including any potential increase, the final amount of any increase, and the implementation timing of a potential increase.
Washington State PTA believes in our grassroots system at the member level so WSPTA is placing a high priority on gathering feedback from our local PTA and council leaders and members about this proposed increase. WSPTA leaders will share the feedback at a town hall meeting with National PTA leaders on March 14th at the National PTA Legislative Conference.
This brief survey was designed to simply and efficiently gather feedback from as many members as possible in a very short time frame. It should take no more than five minutes to complete.
AMOUNT OF POTENTIAL DUES INCREASE
