The European Partnership for Personalised Medicine (
EP PerMed), which promotes this survey, is a platform co-funded by the European Union and participated by national and regional ministries, authorities as well as funding agencies.
The aim of EP PerMed is to promote research, innovation and implementation of Personalised Medicine as a new medical approach for patients, citizens, and society at large.
This survey aims at investigating the awareness of citizens on Personalised Medicine, and develop a strategy to increase awareness and participation of a wider EU community.
EP PerMed would like to understand whether and how much people are informed about Personalised Medicine, what is their perception of it, their thoughts on its possible benefits and risks, and ultimately if they are aware of the PM initiatives and happened to be involved in one or more of them.
Through this survey, we wish to understand how citizens’ voices can be more effectively incorporated in future policy and scientific discussions concerning Personalised Medicine.
