Faculty and Teaching Assistants:
The Libraries Instructional Services Coordinating Committee is conducting a university-wide survey to gain insight on how Binghamton University students do research and how research practices evolve as students progress through the University. The Committee would greatly appreciate your help.
If you decide to participate in this project, simply complete the accompanying online questionnaire. No identifying information will be collected. If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Angelique Jenks-Brown at 607-777-4596 or ajbrown@binghamton.edu.

Your decision whether or not to participate will not prejudice your future relations with Binghamton University or the Libraries. Should you decide to participate, you are not obligated to answer all questions and may stop at any time. Questions about your rights as a volunteer in research can be directed to Binghamton University’s Human Subjects Research Review Committee at 607-777-3818.

Your voluntary completion of the survey constitutes consent to participate. Thank you for assisting us with this questionnaire.
Sincerely, Angelique Jenks-Brown, Subject Librarian

This survey should only take a few minutes and is completely anonymous.

* 1. Please fill-out a separate survey for each course you teach.

What is the course level?

* 3. Do you assign research that requires the use of library resources (e.g., books, articles, data, reports, government documents, etc.)?

* 4. If you answered "no" to the previous question, why not?
