Newport News is updating the city's comprehensive plan. Part of this process is reviewing and updating the plan's goals and strategies. Some older goals have already been accomplished, and some need tweaks. The Comprehensive Planning team has finished one round of public feedback on the update. Now, we are presenting the changes we have made based on the feedback received.
The plan is based on six themes, with the goals and strategies being the ways that the themes are achieved. You will find that each theme has its own page with goals (question title) and their supporting strategies (numbered points) as a list.
