Join Sharyn Egan and her family James and Deni Egan to create a plant or animal totem using meadow hay and coloured thread.
You’ll and discover how Sharyn uses contemporary materials to tell traditional stories while learning binding and wrapping techniques to sculpt a local animal significant to Nyoongar people.
Make one Boorongur to share at the Rockingham Arts Centre until the final celebration day on Sunday 19 July and take one home to enjoy.
Opening celebration and viewing: Sunday 19 July, 2pm - 4pm (workshop participants may take their second Boorongur home after the celebration)
