This fast-paced, interactive workshop, designed for professionals and parents, will focus on how to harness the regular curriculum as a rich source of interest and variety, within which we can use repetitive and predictable instructional strategies. You will learn how to foster language and concept development across each subject and unit using augmentative communication. Finally, we will explore how to improve assessment with simple scales of observational measures of participation and engagement.
