Exploring the challenges around the lack of Scottish legacy notifications for charities

This short survey – from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Remember A Charity and Institute of Legacy Management – aims to understand how the lack of a central legacy notification system in Scotland is affecting charitable legacies.

We encourage responses from all charities that receive legacy income from Scottish estates.

Your responses will help inform our engagement with the Scottish Government and the Scottish Law Commission, and our wider work programme to support the growth of charitable legacy income.

Confidentiality
All responses will be treated in confidence. Any findings, case studies or anecdotes shared in reports will be anonymised and will not identify your organisation without your explicit permission.
