Milam’s Markets and the South Beach Seafood Festival are teaming up to celebrate our South Florida residents and find the best local home chef who's got the flavor, flair, and confidence to cook under pressure—and in front of a crowd, while we join together to highlight all our incredible local talents across South Florida. The culinary masterminds of your favorite South Florida restaurants are ready to show off as the pros do, but with the help of Milam’s Markets, its time to share the spotlight with our residents, our Home Kitchen Heroes and the true Milam’s Markets MVPs. From your kitchen to the South Beach Stage- Milam’s Markets is ready to spotlight YOU!

Scroll and answer the following questions to enter into the SOBE Seafood Slam: Home Chef Challenge ,
hosted by Milam's Markets in partnership with Chef Mika Leon, @mikabites!

HOW TO APPLY:
  • Step 1: Create your signature seafood dish using one signature protein (perks if your seafood comes from Milam’s Markets)
  • Step 2: Post a photo or video of your dish or creating your dish on social media and tag @SobeSeafoodFest and @MilamsMarkets Must follow both accounts and tag both.
  • Step 3: Submit your full recipe online HERE below
Deadline to apply: Tuesday, September 30th.
2 lucky finalists will be selected to compete LIVE on the main stage at Saturday, October 25th's SOUTH BEACH SEAFOOD FESTIVAL'S SEAFOOD SLAM, happening from 1-5PM on the sands of South Beach. The 30 minute competition will take place at 3:30PM.

Tickets: The 2 finalists will each receive 6 tickets as part of their participation (value: $160 each, Total: $960)
