The Brett Fenster Memorial Scholarship was established by New Jersey Youth Soccer as a way to help one of our youth soccer players further their education.  Brett played soccer from the age of five until he graduated from High School. He began participating in the Recreation Program in West Windsor and moved on to play travel and high school soccer.  Brett’s love for the sport flourished along with his interest in the arts and humanities. Brett passed away in 2010 at the age of 23, at which time the scholarship was enacted.

All applications along with a short essay and High School transcript must be received by December 10th, 2021.
The essay should give an explanation of what soccer means to the applicant and how soccer has impacted his/her life. Please also describe your community service. Applicants must also submit a High School Transcript.

Scholarship winners will be chosen by New Jersey Youth Soccer by January 4, 2022.
Winners will receive an award and also have the opportunity to be recognized via a press release and online interview promoted by NJ Youth Soccer.
