1. About You

The Committee aims to bring together peak organisations, service providers, government and residents to act as a coordination team to support the implementation and monitoring of the Child, Youth and Family Plan. The Committee is responsible for identifying and prioritising local opportunities to improve outcomes for children and young people, and advocating for coordinated, collaborative local responses to issues such as service and program development.
 
Membership consists of up to 17 members and will include representation from:

·         Two representatives of the Banyule City Council (Councillors).

·         Up to 5 residents representing the community (individual members)

·         Up to 8 representatives from Community Organisations, Agencies and Service providers who have a focus on provision of services to children, young people and their families in Banyule (organisation members)

·         Up to 4 representatives from Community Groups who are actively engaged with children, young people and their families (community members)

Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from interested individuals and groups/ local agencies.
