Thank you for wanting to partner with us and pray for our Junior High and High School students! Being a teenager is tough in today's world. The school environment and friend groups aren't always encouraging of faith and doing what's right even when it's hard. Your prayers for our students make a difference. You have the opportunity to talk to our Father on behalf of our students and it can be very powerful for them and for you.
By signing up to be a prayer partner, you're committing to pray regularly for a small list of students throughout this school year and into the summer. We will provide you with the list of students in the next few weeks. We will then send you updates about every other month with prayer ideas and info on what's going on in Vertex Student Ministry. We'll also send out updates when we go on events (like retreats) so you can know if a student from your list will be going and can pray specifically for them on that event.
You can request certain students and we'll do our best to match you with them but you may also have some other students on your list that you don't know - we want every student from 6th-12th grade at our church to be prayed for by a WHCC adult. If you have questions, please contact the Student Ministry staff at the church office.
