The Homelessness: Real Stories, Real Solutions project was a special assignment, 18-month journalism lab developed to raise awareness, educate the public, and provide in-depth reporting on housing challenges, homelessness, and policy solutions. The project began in November 2024 and concludes this month.
At the beginning of the project, we invited people to join us on this collective community journey to dispel myths and stereotypes about homelessness by taking a pre-test to gauge their own biases and misunderstandings. As the project wraps up, we wanted to invite people to test again and discover their personal growth about homelessness.
