Coalition Building Cohort

2019-2020 Application

Welcome to the application for the Community Health Training Institute's Coalition Building Cohort! This cohort will serve as a learning network that connects public health workers and coalition leaders from across the state working to promote coalition capacity building in their communities. Participants will share and learn from their collective experiences and challenges on an on-going basis and build their capacity through engaging in interactive training methods and skill-focused learning. Together, we will explore the topic of coalition growth and development and better understand how to incorporate these learnings into our work.

The cohort will run from April to May and consist of two in-person trainings, one online training, and facilitated networking events that occur between trainings. For training descriptions and objectives, please visit our website: https://hriainstitute.org/

The trainings will take place on April 15th, May 6th, and May 11th at Soule Homestead in Middleborough, MA.

The team at the Training Institute will be reviewing these applications and extending an invitation to 45 applicants. We will select participants for this cohort keeping the following considerations in mind:

Ability to attend all sessions (requirement)
Need and readiness for this content area
Cohort demographics: race/ethnicity, gender, geographic location (within MA), etc.

Applications will be accepted until March 11th, 2020. For questions, please email Kelly Danckert at kdanckert@hria.org.
