Giving Ground (Grudgingly)

Instructions

In my January 11th article I invited Jazz of Negotiation readers to share their experience and advice about dealing with a hard bargainer who is using the Ackerman method of making pre-calculated concessions to manipulate your expectations. (Check the post for details if you didn't have a chance to read the piece.)

Please submit your responses by Sunday midnight, January 16, so I can review them and post a follow-up article for Tuesday, January 18th. Many thanks, Mike!

2.If you've had this experience, please describe the context. (If not, you can skip this questions.)
3.Whether or not, you've had this experience, what do you think is the best way to respond to it? Are their any pitfalls a negotiator should avoid?(Required.)
