Nevada's Fostering Success Summit Workshop Proposal Application

Workshop Proposal Application DUE: February 14, 2020

Summit Description: In an effort to improve cross system alignment and coordination of our foster care system – and, ultimately, to improve outcomes for youth in foster care – the Children’s Advocacy Alliance, in partnership with many community stakeholders, will be hosting the state’s first Fostering Success Summit in June 2020 to address the needs of foster youth here in Nevada. The Summit will bring together these key stakeholders such as educators, the various child welfare agencies across the state, current and former foster youth, community stakeholders and many others to identify barriers, opportunities and solutions to some of the most pressing issues impacting successful outcomes for youth in care across the state.

We are seeking workshop proposals from our community partners to showcase programs and services, opportunities for collaboration, research, and to provide tools, resources and/or training to our Summit attendees. Our theme this year is, “Creating Cross-System Collaborations to Improve Outcomes for Children, Youth and Families.”
