Values
To achieve the mission and vision of this strategy, we need all associated with PHD to live by these values:
• Safe. We must deliver a safe space for patients and staff
• People Centred. We must put the patient and clients first in all that we do.
• Authentic. We must be true to our vision and operate honestly and openly
• Collaborative. We must work with all the GP practices and the Health and Care system seamlessly with good communication.
• Effective. We must always focus on what works best for the people we care for

Actions to Realise the Vision

Quality. Maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance will always be PHD’s highest priority. Providing safe, clinically auditable work is fundamental and will never be compromised.

Innovation. While quality must remain the cornerstone of everything we do, we recognise that the system cannot move forward—or achieve improved outcomes—without PHD being at the forefront of innovation and service development.

Sustainability. PHD must deliver value-for-money services and reinvest surpluses into patient care, strengthening the system we serve. We also need to operate with sufficient margins and reserves to finance contracts and withstand unexpected external factors.
