COVID-19 Community Needs Assessment

Stanislaus County is anticipating allocation of funds as a result of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and other federal and state stimulus funds to meet the needs of the homeless during this COVID-19 emergency.

Part of the planning process to prioritize the disbursement of funds will be the completion of a Community Needs Assessment. This assessment will be used to evaluate needs/ service gaps for those at-risk of becoming homeless and those who are currently experiencing homelessness in the community.  The results will be shared with the Stanislaus Homeless Alliance (SHA) and the Stanislaus Community System of Care (CSOC) and may be used to determine how certain funding is programmed and awarded.

We appreciate you taking the time to help us evaluate where funds may be most effective in serving the homeless community.
