Dear Bastrop ISD Parent,

As a District, we are committed to providing a safe, caring, and engaging school culture across all our campuses so that student learning and achievement, teacher morale, and parental involvement are impacted positively.  In recognition of the importance of receiving input from all stakeholders on school climate, the Bastrop ISD is proud to launch our first annual comprehensive Campus Climate Survey.

The survey, which is completely confidential, will allow parents to provide the District valuable feedback on how to refine its efforts to ensure all students succeed and to provide first-class customer service to all Bastrop ISD stakeholders.  Additionally, your input will assist the District in meeting the following goals from our recently approved Strategic Action Plan.

Goal 1:  We will develop and maintain a system of instruction that differentiates for every student’s needs.
Goal 2:  We will increase the effectiveness of communication throughout the Bastrop ISD community.
Goal 4:  We will strengthen and develop partnerships with students, parents, businesses, and community members in order to empower learner success and productivity.

This survey provides you with the opportunity to provide feedback on the strengths, areas of opportunity, communication, and school culture.  This valuable input will serve to help us here at the Service Center, District and Campus Administration, and the Board of Trustees to create a more positive and productive learning environment that will ensure that graduates of Bastrop ISD are empowered to become successful and productive in a global society.

Please complete the short online survey no later than May 19, 2017. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes of your time. For those of you who do not have daily access to a computer, one is available for your use at any of our campuses, departments, or at the Bastrop ISD Service Center. Surveys may be completed on any computer that has internet access.

If you have any problems or questions about the survey, please all the Department of Human Resources at 512-772-7156.

Thank you in advance for completing this important survey.
