OMA LEAD Project Survey

The Oklahoma Museums Association (OMA), in partnership with the Mountain Plains Museums Association (MPMA), is launching Engage Forward: 21st Century Museum Professionals LEAD, a new three-year professional development initiative designed for emerging administrators at small and mid-sized museums across the Mountain Plains region. The project will offer a two-day virtual institute and openly accessible digital learning modules focused on four key pillars: Leadership, Engagement, Advocacy, and Development. As the project begins, OMA will soon share a regional museum survey to help identify current needs and shape the program, followed later by an application opportunity for emerging museum leaders interested in participating in the LEAD institute. This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services 21st Century Museum Professionals Program Project grant.

Please take 5–10 minutes to complete this survey so that we can address contemporary industry needs within our region. The survey will close on April 17, 2026.
