Curious about a career in heavy vehicle or automotive trades? Join us for a free Women's Heavy Vehicle & Automotive Try-a-Trade Night, designed for women aged 16 years and over who are interested in exploring an apprenticeship in the automotive industry.

Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain hands-on exposure to heavy vehicle and automotive trades
- Learn basic workshop safety practices
- Try practical activities using industry tools and equipment
- Develop foundational skills in heavy vehicle and automotive work
- Meet industry professionals and ask questions about working in the trades
- Explore apprenticeship and career pathways
The evening also includes an interactive session with Thales, covering:
- Upcoming apprenticeship opportunities in Bendigo
- Careers as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and Automotive Spray Painter
- What employers look for in apprenticeship applicants
- Tips for preparing a strong apprenticeship application
- What it's really like to work in the industry
