1. Introduction

The Build4Scale™ self-assessment will help you rate your own knowledge of manufacturing and design, as well as determine your manufacturing readiness level, in order to identify the specific Build4Scale training modules and resources that will help you develop and manufacture your hardware technology.

Each question in the self-assessment reflects a corresponding location in the Build4Scale training materials covering the same topic areas. Use this system to assess your knowledge and how it progresses over time.

Step #1: Complete each question. If you have trouble completing a question, just give it a low score. Later, you can take the assessment again and will likely have a better idea of how to answer.

Step #2: If you would like more information on any concept, consider going straight to the Build4Scale training. Relevant training modules are noted in brackets under each question.

Step #3: Note your score, which helps indicate your level of manufacturing readiness, on the final results page of the survey. Consider saving your score for comparison later if you take the self-assessment again after more training.
