Parent/Guardian Interest Survey 

Parents & Guardians,
An exploratory committee has been formed at MUHS to examine public interest in the possibility of a four-day school week during the 2023-2024 school year.  The committee values your input regarding this decision and will use the feedback provided in the following survey to help direct efforts moving forward.  The MUHS School Board has not made an official decision regarding a four-day school week, and will not do so until the committee presents its findings during the 2022-2023 school year.   
Studies show that a four-day school week can result in improved student behavior and emotional wellbeing, improved staff recruitment/retainment, higher attendance rates, and additional family time. A four-day school week can also mean that school days may be longer, holidays may be shortened, and possibly more days added to the end of the calendar year.
