Bicycle SA is keen to continue monitoring community response to new road rules that came into effect on Sunday 25 October 2015. The new road rules require motorists to give a minimum of one metre when passing a cyclist where the speed limit is 60km/h or less and 1.5 metres where the speed limit is over 60km/h. They also allow for cyclists to legally ride on the footpath.

This short "snap" survey is designed to produce a quick, high level response at the three month mark, since the new laws came into effect last October. We had a great response to the first survey with over 1,300 people taking the time to share their experiences – we would love to get over 2,000 responses for this survey!!

We appreciate your feedback and your input is valuable to Bicycle SA's mission of getting more people cycling.
