Long Point Trail - I-526 to Whipple Rd

This segment of the Long Point Trail is a proposed 10ft-12ft wide multiuse path project that is proposed to run along the Belle Hall Shopping Center side of Long Point Rd from I-526 to Whipple Rd. The path will utilize the existing right-of-way as much as feasibly possible and seek recreational easements or right-of-way where necessary. This path is part of the larger Town-wide Mount Pleasant Way Project (https://www.tompsc.com/1347/Mount-Pleasant-Way) providing opportunity for recreation and alternative transportation modes like biking and walking.
