Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) requests your answers to our Tribal CARES Act Funding Shareholder Assistance Questionnaire.

As many of you know, in June 2020 the U.S. Supreme Court decided over the dispute about Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) receiving funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that ANCs are entitled to a portion of the billions of dollars in coronavirus relief allocated to “tribal governments” by Congress in March 2020.  CFC has received its CARES Act funds which are to be used when there is a demonstrated financial need due to COVID-19.

The CFC Tribal CARES Act Funding Shareholder Assistance Questionnaire will provide eligible CFC Shareholders with a one-time payment not to exceed $1,500 to those Shareholders who experienced additional expenses and/or loss of income related to the COVID-19 pandemic between March 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021, that has not been paid by or reimbursed by any other Alaska Native Corporation, CARES Act Program or any other federal, state, tribal, or local government. CFC Shareholders eligible for Tribal CARES Act funding relief must be 18 years of age or over.  Failure to reply to the questionnaire may prohibit CFC from providing necessary payment relief.

Approved payments will be mailed to the Shareholder information on record.  If you need to update or change your address, please log into your account prior to December 6, 2021.

The information provided by you will not be published or sold anywhere, but will only be used to establish a need so that we may effectively release funds where they are needed.  The answers to this survey provide us the data to most effectively and efficiently ensure that our Shareholders are being provided the relief needed as a result of COVID-19 hardships.

Survey Responses are due by December 10, 2021. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
