Please read the following instructions carefully. The deadlines are in close proximity, therefore, please confirm that you can make payments at the dates requested before applying. 

1.    The submission deadline has been extended and is now due by Friday, June 18, 2021, at 11:59 PM
2.    A video or phone interview is required and rolling interviews will be scheduled from May 1 - June 21, 2021.
3.    Informational packets will be emailed to those who are selected.
4.    Round-trip flights to Haiti are approx. $500.00- $700.00.
5.    Accommodations are $119.00 per day (all-inclusive of food, transportation, and lodging).
6.    For all those selected, a non-refundable registration fee of $249.00 is required by Friday, June 25, 2021.
7.    All accommodation fees and flight itineraries are due by Friday, July 9, 2021.
8.    A mandatory orientation will be facilitated on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at 6:00 PM EST.
9.    PowerPoint Slides or handouts are due by July 23, 2021

Objective: To provide hands-on educational, emotional, and psychological tools to Haitian native teachers. 

Target Audience: Teachers in all 10 Haitian geographical departments.

We are accepting 45 min proposals centered around the following themes: 
· Literacy Strategies
· Civic Engagement/Ethics
· Best Educational/Technological Practices in the 21st Century 
· Culturally Responsive Approaches to Distant Learning
· Leadership Strategies (evaluations, observations, etc.)
· Wellness (stress and burnout management)
· Mental Health Tools for the Classroom (i.e., play and art therapy techniques)
· Managing Political Unrest and Classroom Disruptions
*Note: You will repeat your presentation one to two times each day.
