IF YOU FILLED THIS OUT IN APRIL, NO NEED TO DO SO AGAIN.
Thank you for expressing interest in fighting against the new ESSEX carbon tax in Vermont! There were a number of carbon tax bills under consideration during the 2017-2018 legislative session, but The ESSEX Plan, as it’s known, has emerged as the one that advocates will try to pass after the election in 2019. The Ethan Allen Institute has researched and publicized the negative impacts this plan will have in general. Now, we are hoping to hope to publicize how this tax will affect individuals in specific circumstances. We need your help! Your answers to the following survey will be kept fully anonymous, but will form the basis for our creating and publishing “profiles” of Vermonters and how they would be impacted by the ESSEX Carbon Tax.
