ASTMH is partnering with ONE Campaign and its network of advocacy partners to organize a Hill Day on Wednesday, November 18, ahead of the evening opening plenary of the ASTMH Annual Meeting. This is a unique opportunity for members to meet with congressional offices, advocate for sustained investments in global health and tropical medicine and help elevate the priorities of the ASTMH community.
This activity will be a valuable opportunity for ASTMH members to meet with Congressional staff to discuss the importance of global health research, public health, program implementation, and training. These conversations are especially impactful when you can discuss how your work in research, medicine, and public health is supported by the US.

Selected participants will receive advocacy training and support in advance of congressional meetings. Transportation between the Gaylord National Harbor and Capitol Hill will be provided. Any meals or other incidental expenses are the responsibility of each Hill Day participant.
