GENERAL PILOT INFORMATION:

Thank you for your willingness to participate in this pilot of the Higg Facilities Environment Module (FEM) 3.0.

The pilot goals are to:

1)  Improve the content of Higg FEM to address stakeholder feedback
2)  Test a new, more customized questionnaire that asks only the most relevant questions to the facility completing the questionnaire. Our hope is the new format will simplify Higg for manufacturers and score more fairly.

A few important things to note about this pilot:

1) The content being pilot tested here is in draft form only. The final version of FEM 3.0 will be developed and implemented on Higg.org in 2016, based on feedback received from SAC members and stakeholders during this pilot.

2) This pilot tool is very limited in functionality and does not include the log-ins, governance, reporting and benchmarking functionality currently found on Higg.org.  The final tool (to be completed in 2016) will include these functions.

3) Scoring is in draft form only and scoring feedback from this pilot will be used to develop a true scoring system for the final version of Higg FEM 3.0 in 2016.  Scores are not important for the purpose of the pilot. Feedback on how scoring works, however, is!

4) Manufacturers should continue to complete their 2015 modules on Higg.org, using the 2.0 format,  during this pilot test (www.higg.org).

5) All pilot feedback must be received by February 26th in order to be included in the development of the final FEM 3.0.

COMMITMENT OF PILOT PARTICIPANTS:
