Welcome to our conference - 2 to 4 August 2022

Future Fuels CRC is bringing together our mid and senior level researchers to celebrate our success over the last three years and learn about and discuss industry's future research needs and how, as a community we can deliver them.
The Waurn Ponds Estate at Deakin University, Victoria will be hosting the event. Overnight accommodation onsite can be booked independently by attendees if required.
Waurn Ponds Estate is located at Nicol Drive South, Waurn Ponds VIC 3216, and is close to the M1 Princes Freeway, Waurn Ponds rail station and Avalon airport.

Session and Timings
The conference will cover four sessions across three days, starting at 1pm Tuesday 2 August and completing at 1pm Thursday 4 August, giving attendees plenty of time to travel to and from the event. We encourage all our researchers to join for as much of the program as possible. There will be plenty of time set aside during the conference for networking, discussion and to stay connected to your work.

We will hold dinners for all attendees on both nights at the Waurn Ponds Estate.

The four session themes are:

The future of energy research to 2030 and beyond

Building research’s relevance to the energy transition

Translating research into impact

Making it happen: developing the effectiveness of Future Fuels CRC’s community

Future Fuels CRC is providing the conference, dinners and refreshments free of charge to our researchers and industry guests. Any overnight accommodation, travel or other expenses should be covered by attendees.
