Ready to leap into something new? Regional Arts Victoria’s Creative Leadership Program could be the answer!

If you’re passionate about the arts and are looking to extend your skills in arts management, Regional Arts Victoria wants YOU! We are looking for young people who will complete VCE this year or have done so in the last two years and who are considering a career in arts management to apply for our Creative Leadership Program.
PLEASE NOTE:

Between 7-15 February 2015 we will provide aspiring arts leaders from regional Victoria with the opportunity to extend their career options and experience in the heart of Australia’s arts capital – Melbourne.

This will be a nine-day intensive program that brings you face-to-face with arts workers, directors, producers, and marketers from across Victoria. The program will focus on workshops, lectures, and projects with real-world experience a key focus to help get you started. We’ll also throw in some theatre tickets, museum passes and more, so that you really get a chance to experience everything the Melbourne arts scene has to offer. As if all of that isn't enough, upon completion of the Creative Leadership Program, you will continue to be a key part of the RAV community, with the potential to speak at events, participate in projects and generally have an influence on the arts in regional Victoria!

Over the last three years, our participants walked away with a swathe of experiences and inspiration, as well as a huge foot in the door to the arts industry: Many have gone on to participate and work in the industry and to successfully run their own arts projects.

"This program was ideal for myself, about to begin study in fine arts as it gave an insight into the industry I will be involved in for (hopefully) the rest of my life. Coming into this course I thought that getting a job would be close to impossible in the arts world, I left knowing that it isn’t only possible, but there are so many people helping you to get those jobs! The variety of arts we encountered was incredible and so broad, I loved the outings to performances and shows I wouldn’t normally see! The highlights for me were so constant, if you choose any point out of those nine days, it would be on the highlight roll!
