Bastrop County has been awarded a Texas Water Development Board Flood Protection Planning Grant to conduct a study of the Alum Creek Watershed shown below.  The study will investigate structural and nonstructural flood damage reduction projects which will be used to develop a Comprehensive Flood Protection Plan for Bastrop County.  Public input is being solicited to help identify and quantify areas of concern and discuss possible solutions.
